This week you were supposed to write an essay on Information Literacy. What do you think that is and how important is it that know how to locate, evaluate and use information. How does that change the way we educate children today? What would be different in a classroom 20 or 30 years ago?

Hunger Games
I have started reading the first book of the Hunger Games series , it's about a boarding school in what appears to be some type of alternate universe. At these schools every year they have an annual Hunger Games , were it is basically is a fight to the death . The books are soon becoming a movie so I would like to finish before that.

How can you be successful personally or professionally if you do not know how to locate, evaluate, and use information effectively? First Time Blogging...
So, this is my first time blogging on Blogger. com. I think it will be interesting to use this website for this class. Figuring out what to blog about, though, will be tough. I could blog about Rachel Carvell and how awesome she is. Or about the assignments for this week. I hope Blabberize still works...it seems to be taking forever. But we'll see...

As you can see from the examples on the Wiki this week, political bias is nothing new in the media. Why do you think the media is so important to politicians? Many believe that television played a significant role in the election of President Kennedy. Why do you think that is so? What kinds of media tools do politicians rely on today?
